HYBRID/PRIMARILY REMOTE

Compensation Analyst (Total Rewards)

Under the direction of the Director, Total Rewards, this position is responsible to support the Total Rewards (compensation and benefits) team which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Collects, analyzes, and maintains data to e, ensure the Health System wage and salary program is internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Writes and audits job descriptions, evaluates jobs and recommends appropriate pay grade assignments and FLSA status.
  • Administers variable pay programs.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the online HRAF data entry as well as Total Rewards (compensation and benefits) transactional entries
  • The HR files are and will be maintained accurately and meet the compliance requirements of the various regulatory agencies that monitor Sinai Chicago performance
  • Conducts and responds to wage and salary surveys, file preparation and reviews with various regulatory agencies as required
  • Participates and/or lead activities that support various HR projects that impact Compensation, HRIS, Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Health and Employee Relations duties
  • Communicates with virtually every part of the organization utilizing effective, high quality,  customer service excellence
  • Improving processes related to HR Operations and transaction
  • leading and coordinating team meetings with the operations team
  • Assist with payroll processing of compensation and benefits as needed

 

Reporting Relationships: 

  • Reports to:            Director, Total Rewards
  • Supervised by:      Senior Compensation Consultant
  • Provides Supervision to:   None

MINIMUM Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field required.
  • Masters Degree preferred.

 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years of previous and progressively more responsible work related experience.
  • Analytical ability to resolve complex problems requiring the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and ability to perform in-depth analysis.
  • Expertise in excel spreadsheet preparation and data analysis
  • Skilled in word processing and graphic presentation programs.
  •  Strong math and expert Excel skills a plus

REQUIRED LICENSES, Certificates, Registrations:

CCP and/or specialized training in Compensation preferred.
