The Addiction's counselor will provide counseling services, both individual and group to patients. Also, provides discharge planning for patients related to their substance abuse follow-up care. CADC certification is desired.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
 Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Related field from an accredited college or university
TIME REQUIREMENT- flexible hours with day, evening and weekend coverage
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
 Health care or related field
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
 Knowledge of crisis intervention procedures
 Strong clinical assessment skills
 Knowledge of therapeutic individual, family and group techniques
 Ability to engage community services that meet the patient needs
 Outstanding oral and written communication skills
 Ability to work independently in accordance with policy and procedure
 Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team model
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
 State of Illinois license in Social Work (LSW, LCSW) or Counseling (LCP, LCPC)
 Additional CADC preferred
