OSITION SUMMARY:
The Nurse Practitioner, in collaboration with physicians, provides medical care and treatment for clients with Interventional/Vascular illnesses along the lifespan in the outpatient setting, inpatient setting, for Interventional Radiology services, Monday – Friday and some weekends. Treatment includes assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating care patients amongst a multi-disciplinary team. The Nurse Practitioner will conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments while utilizing evidenced-based research within the scope of standards of practice for Advanced Practice Nurses as deemed by the American Nurses’ Association and Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program. National certification and maintenance of that certification as a nurse practitioner. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years licensed nursing experience.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: • Current RN Illinois license. • Current Advanced Practice Licensure. • Current DEA licensure and BLS Certification
